Positive: We had a wonderful stay at Zen Whisper in the Woods! The location was peaceful and calming—perfect for a relaxing escape. The home was exceptionally clean, with spotless bedding and a well-kept interior that felt like home right away. The kitchen was fully equipped and incredibly organized, with clear labels on cabinets and even light switches, which saved us so much time. Small touches like labeled bins, towels for makeup, and even kids' games really stood out—everything was thoughtfully prepared with attention to detail. The complimentary snacks and welcome basket were such a nice surprise, and the binder with local info was incredibly useful. It was obvious that care was taken in every aspect of the guest experience. What made our stay even more memorable were the hosts, Shekhar and Rubina. From start to finish, they were warm, welcoming, and attentive. Their thoughtful communication and hospitality made us feel truly appreciated. The check-in and check-out process was smooth and straightforward. The only minor inconvenience was that the blinds in a couple of bedrooms didn’t close fully, letting in light in the morning, but it didn’t take away from the overall fantastic experience. We would absolutely recommend this stay and would love to return in the future!

Our main reason for the stay at Zen retreat was its proximity to Yosemite. Yosemite is about a 30 minute drive and we entered the park 3days.The property has a fully stocked kitchen ware. There is a nice patio for outdoor dining or lounging. 3 full bathrooms, stocked with nice soaps and skin and shampoo care. Name brand soaps. There were beach towels in the house as we used the beach at the private lake. The house is comfortable and the beds are comfortable. There was a minor issue with the jacuzzi. I contacted the host and it was remedied immediately the next day while we were out of the house. There is wildlife through out the area. Deer and bear sighting on the street of the house were daily. There is a nice wrap around patio on the front of the house. All in all there were 14 adults and we fit comfortably.

This was our 2nd time staying at this beautiful home tucked away in Groveland! It fit our family of 16 perfectly! It is beautifully furnished and the pool table is a hit with all ages. The host is so accommodating and very easy to communicate with. The home is stocked with so many little nice and thoughtful touches. We will definitely be back next year.
